example..... -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Walk..... Pantera Can't you see I'm easily bothered by persistence One step from lashing out at you... You want in to get under my skin And call yourself a friend I've got more friends like you What do I do? Is there no standard anymore? What it takes, who I am, where I've been Belong You can't be something you're not Be yourself, by yourself Stay away from me A lesson learned in life Known from the dawn of time
[Chorus] Respect, walk
Run your mouth when I'm not around It's easy to achieve You cry to weak friends that sympathize Can you hear the violins playing you song? Those same friends tell me your every word
[Chorus]
Are you talking to me? No way punk ----------------------------------------------------------
is there ANY dought the mesage he is getting across?
now lets compare some alternative music.... --------------------------------------------- smells like teen spirit...... nirvana
And I forget just why I taste Oh yeah, I guess it makes me smile I found it hard, it was hard to find Oh well, whatever, nevermind
hello, hello, hello, how low?
With the lights out it's less dangerous Here we are now, entertain us I feel stupid and contagious A mulatto An albino A mosquito My Libido Yay, a denial
----------------------------------------
can ANYONE tell me what the hell he is trying to say???

Agreed. You made a VERY good point. People are not drawn to metal. If it's not GREAT people won't listen to it, or buy the records, therefore, you won't hear about it. My last post was aimed more at the hip-hop, pop stuff. Not the metal stuff. hip hop is to rap.... what pop is to rock.... they are both watered down easy to listen to versions of the harder , true er , original... there are VERY talented rappers... (i dont really like rap but respect talent when i hear it) but hip hop is made to dance music, not something you sit and listen to purely to apreciate it

manson i hav a hard time with... some of his hooks are catchy... but niether he, or his band is very talented... Those 2 songs get me pumped, but don't get me wrong, they don't hold a candle talentwise to the likes of Disturbed. I got one for ya Jaber! See if you can identify this song and artist (hint: there are 2 correct answers for the artist ) Here is how the chorus goes.. 27 EVERYONE WAS NIIIICE! GOTTA SEE 'EM, MAKE 'EM PAY THE PRIIICE! SEE THE BODIES OUT ON THE IIIICE, ....TAKE MY TIME!!

I don't wanna hear the gay joke from "40 year old virgin" out of any of you guys. I have to hear it everyday from my girlfriend. In My Place by Cold Play.

I like Diamond Heads version alright, but nothing compares to Metallica's version! That song was recorded by Metallica as a B-side to the Creeping Death single. I tell ya, the Cliff Burton era of Metallica was their best period. I miss that guy

My favorite album was Kill Em All.

I miss that guy it was originaly on there self produced album "no life till leather" then later included on the original Kill 'em All. but when elektra took over as their record label they took that and blitzkrieg off of the album
