I am impressed! I like Diamond Heads version alright, but nothing compares to Metallica's version! That song was recorded by Metallica as a B-side to the Creeping Death single. I tell ya, the Cliff Burton era of Metallica was their best period. I miss that guy it was originaly on there self produced album "no life till leather" then later included on the original Kill 'em All. but when elektra took over as their record label they took that and blitzkrieg off of the album They never recorded those songs on No Life til Leather. Here is the song list for No Life til Leather: www.musicianforums.com/sputnik/album.php?reviewid=1934&genreid=4&styleid=17Dave Mustaine was the guitarist for No Life Til Leather. They recorded Am I Evil? and Blitzkrieg as B-sides for singles on Ride the Lightning when Kirk Hammett was in the band

you know you are a GREAT band when you can make a 11 min song... and it rocks the whole time Name a song they've come up with that is worth a D@mn since that album . uuuuuhh.... the black record came after and justice for all.... there are a few songs there i love.... where ever i may roam dont tread on me of wolf and man also the garage INC 1 and 2 had a few good songs too... whiskey in the jar am i evil stone cold crazy off reload i liked fuel prince charming off st anger frantic and st anger (only because i watched the music video and any band that would record a music video in the middle of san quinton with nothing seperating them from the general population and no extra guards... is fukin cool to me)

You can find all that stuff in singles that they released previously(Pretty sure they were all before the black album). I used too be a BIG Mettalica fan, but (in the last many years)they have been a disappointment(too me anyways)

So what your saying is that Mettallica is all about making good money, not good music. Most great bands in history stuck with what they knew, Thats what made them great. Am I wrong in this assumption?

Am I wrong in this assumption? metallica sucks now, the last decent album they had was in justice for all,but personally i think from master of puppets back is the real metallica, they had to go and become "creative" instead of the raw aggression style that won them their fans in the first place

I just have to quit listening to them everynow and then to keep from getting burnt out on them. Balls to bones I still feel they are one of the greatest bands there ever was.

Most great bands in history stuck with what they knew, Thats what made them great. Am I wrong in this assumption? strait from the mouth of kirk hemmet... "a few people in recent times have accused us of selling out. My definition of selling out is doing something that you dont want to ,just because it makes you money. Well to those people i would say, we have NEVER made a single record that we did not absolutly WANT to make. i think if we forced ourselves to stay cramped into a box that some people wanted to trap us in, just because that is what THEY wanted to hear.... that would be selling out..." hell i dont think he could have said it any better...

Okay, it is really hard knowing that my boyfriend likes Coldplay, but I like them too. Not as much as Cake, Marliyn Manson, the Donnas, the Cure, Jimmy eat World, The Start, Radiohead, anything 80's, the Pouges, Frank Sinatra, Sinead O'Conner or early Bowling for Soup, just to name a few.

i have a few...ozzy's crazy train................... Classic. Randy Rhoads was one hell of a guitar player. I used to be a Randy Rhoads freak when I was a kid. I used to play Crazy Train every day on my guitar, over and over and over. I loved playing that solo. What a terrible loss. This calls for a little trivia. Let's see who the real Ozzy fans are.............or who can use the internet the best.
What was the original name of Black Sabbath?[/size]
